can you glue or repair vpd armour? poc knee pads

Ok. I have a set of poc vpd knee pads.
The actual pad has torn inside.
Is there a way repair this?
The outside is still good and this has only happened on 1 of the knee pads

I glued one of the removable pads like this from my 7IDP shoulder protection. Has been completely fine since but not sure how the knees would hold up.

It's also my backup kit so I was happy to take the risk. It does glue back very well though.

What glue did you use?

Just run of the mill super glue. Has worked fine and had no issues. This was about 5 months ago.

glued it up today with superglue, worked a treat! cheers for the tip!
