That bike has been at the Broadmeadow cashies store for well over a year, he also has it advertised on gumtree every now and then..I have tried to lowball the manager several times

You might find him suddenly motivated to move it in the next few days.

Go back and get it just for the principle even if you have to forward it to the insurance company. Go there with everything you need, take a photo of the bike in case they wheel it out the back by the time you return with the cops if they don't want to hand it over to you because I've heard of that happening in Brissy years ago.
