G'day All,
Its new bike time and these are the two i'm currently considering. '18/'19 Jekyll 2 27.5 and '19 Trek Remedy 9.8
Bit of background - last three bikes (from latest to oldest) Transition Covert 27.5 (160 front and rear), Santa Cruz Heckler 26 (150/150) and Cannondale prophet 26 (140/140).
The next bike will need to be able to comfortably handle the 2 - 3 hour weekend blast around Gap Creek, Bunyaville and the occasional big k's day at Hiddenvale etc - but the true love lies with the days at Boomerang Farm, shuttling Toowoomba and Clear etc etc.
I'm no spring chicken at 54 and don't hit the really big stuff (yet?)- but the downs are what i love.
So - i know the Remedy will handle the 2-3 trail rides and i know the jeklyll will love Boomerang, etc.
What about the other way around?
Any thoughts or advice??
Cheers, iain
