Item Condition: Good, no dents, usual scuffs from use ok
Reason for buying: Trails I ride are too easy and I'm no longer brave enough to ride harder tracks. Would also like a project for these quarantine times.
Price and price conditions: Wanting to do a build for under $1K
Extra Info: Must be compatible with current spec so no 1 1/8 straight steerer tubes, 9mm drop outs etc.

I still have the Torrent frame if you're interested, but only frame/headset/seatclamp. Had people interested but wanting photos, and never got around to grabbing them as frame boxed up already + current world.. situation. $200 posted if you'd like.

excellent question. largeish, I'm 179cm so a traditional 19" though i believe sizing has become more about reach that frame size?

Build budget is $1K so a scratched fork for that much would be undesirable.
Better option would be probably suntour from crc.

Yeah fair enough, I thought there might be some scope for negotiation because of the scratch...

If you can find yourself a cheap 29er frame that will happily take a 100mm fork, I have Manitou Marvel fork with 185mm steerer for $50.
I don't think the Torrent frame would work, it is supposed to take 140mm fork...

Edit: oh wait just reread your requirement, that fork of mine has 9mm dropouts so maybe not what you want
