Saddles are such a personal thing. I have given a fair few a shot including the usual suspects, SQlab, Pro, Spesh power, Selle SMP, all the ones that people swear by. In the end it was some silly discontinued bontrager that works for me on the road and the wtb volt for mtb.

First thing to rule out is saddle width. I find most people generally suffer less after this is controlled for. After that, it's the shape of the saddle. The rest is mostly marketing hog wash. I find even the cutouts are bulldust.
