Anybody know where I can get coloured spokes in country, preferably Melbourne? My LBSs are usless, as I only need half a dozen and they would t order for any less than 100.

We get them from kmart. I think it was $3 a pack. We're in Syd though... Just don't let the kids put them on your bike, at speed you hear nothing but on those long long grinding climbs all you can hear, is them ticking over, laughing at you....Gggrrrrr.

Oopsie... Just re read ur post. Are you after spokey dokey? Or coloured spokes?? For coloured spokes you could try a specialist BMX shop.

Pretty sure Dartmoor do them with matchy-matchy nips. Anyone know why Fearless' website is kaput? Sethius? Or are you too busy moving?

Would Ti fit the bill? I've got a fistful of ti spokes that were used from DT240's to 26" LB rims. Can't remember lengths off hand, but can check tonight. They've been 'pre-stressed', by the way, they aren't new.

I bought DT colored spokes from bike24 - red and white. Only way i could get double butted in the length i wanted in colours without going custom like Pillar. Then i discovered they are painted rather than anodized like the black ones. Maybe just paint them as well?

Pillar do heaps of colours either anodized or painted, but not sure about their ordering process. A few sellers on ebay are doing them though.

and here's a photo of my wheels, they were for my 24" bmx

I got some red anno ones from there, double butted, but not DTs, Sixpack I think the brand was. But don't really want to pay $20 shipping for $5 worth of spokes...
Get some purple ano spokes, m8.
Where do I sign up bru?
