I'm still waiting for the explanation from the F-18 pilots mysterious sightings....Exactly. Why invent an unnecessary conspiracy? I don't blindly trust big phara (or anyone for that matter) but that doesn't mean I'll jump to some sort of conclusion that isn't evidence based. There is now a sufficient body of data on vaccinated v. unvaccinated outcomes that it is totally clear that the vaccines are effective. Maybe they're not as effective as claimed. Maybe big pharma have gilded the lilly in their data but that doesn't mean that if they're off in their data that you throw the baby out with the bath water.
What is often found in a critique by a crackpot is some little piece of the puzzle that might be untrue (or ambiguous) which is then latched onto and used as evidence that the whole thing is untrue. This is bullshit. It's a bit like claiming newtonian physics is a crock of shit because it breaks down as you approach the speed of light.
All jokes/ribbings aside, spot on. Calling into question 2% of the puzzle doesn't discredit the entire body of work. I'd be very confident betting that Pfizer et al have fudged the numbers slightly. But net benefit is still apparent.
Now if someone could please explain to me how my friend (and that's now becoming a long stretch), who's a practising ED nurse is the USA, 3 years out of training, can be ardently anti vax. I'm lost. I am more lost then poodle at a cyclocross event on that one.
