So much stress and anxiety.... was good to come home put the tech away and go for a ride with my 6 year old to clear the head.

This arvo after work was the most amount of people I have seen on the streets so far. Everyone was outside. Heaps of kids walking with their dads.

....finding it hard to find masks, hand sanitiser, & gloves?

All countries are doing this, including Australia. We received about 25m masks in the last 24hrs, pretty sure they were sourced from China. The media is beating this up, it's a BS story as there was nothing secret about what they did. They posted it on social media, I even saw it at the time (will go back and try to find the posts on Twitter).

If @hifiandmtb and I team up we can make rabbrat roasts and given the butchers are bare we could be into a pandemic economic surprise story. Similar to a turducken, stuff a rat into a rabbit and roast that bad boy to perfection. Nummies.

Any ideas what could be stuffed into the rat to make it a threesome?
You'd fit a mouse in there no worries. Just make sure you gut it of the wheels and other electronic components first...

Just the same not sure it will help Greenland sell apartments locally...

It's a shame so many countries are struggling with this all at the one time, I think just like the boxing day tsunami it would be an opportunity to show that we do (maybe I am optimistic) at a basic level care about the rest of the planet.

We do care about the rest of the planet... although just a bit less so when we realise we are all in the same cruise ship. Then it all goes a bit Titanic...

Definitely should have gone to specsavers
Sorry to hear that some folk can’t get out for a ride, it really helps with the cabin fever at present. Took the lad out to the local tracks again this arvo, came across only one other rider and also some idiots with four dogs off-leash running around the scrub (it’s a conservation area).

I’m starting to warm to Dr. Norman Swan and the ABC coronacast podcasts. He’s one of the few people that takes the hysteria out of COVID-19, de-politicises it and explains the things we can be doing to get back to normal sooner in simple language.

Listening from about 3:45 in his most recent coronacast, he discusses how we could have it beat after only 6 weeks and largely go back to our normal lives. It’s more than the community sticking with the social distancing and isolation programme though, greater testing is needed.

The podcasts that had the Prime Ministers office call the ABC to complain about, and have the Murdoch propaganda machine losing their shit about the socialist ABC using the crisis to push their extremist left agenda...

Yeah but its the stupidity of the community that gives me hysteria.

The US is now more infected than Italy...

It had been raining on and off all day, by 6 it was clear skies so I think a lot took the chance to get out and about.

Medically diagnosed OMS
Yep this is so insane.
My job is essential so I have to work on a floor with 100 others breathing in their coughs and sneezes.
My kid has to go to school with hundreds of other boogery kids.
When i need groceries I go to the supermarket with dozens of others who are touching and coughing and sneezing on everything.
But I can't ride my bike, by myself in an open space.

I get social distancing but riding my mtb bike is the only time I get to actually do that.
Tas Parks and Wildlife has now closed ALL reserves. Can’t think of anywhere now that’s open, as all council reserves are closed as well

Isn't that the same department that said the ANAO got it wrong on sports rorts 2.0?

Hmm makes me question their motives...

I have more of issue with the fact a chinese businesses in foreign countries can pivot from doing their main operations to doing what the ccp wants overnight. Who is going to pay the operational expenses of the companies involved since they had to stop regular trading? Few questions to be asked.

I don’t take issue with the the chinese people needed supplies in a desperate situation and we should have helped. The ccp could have asked the aust gov for help rather than backdooring.. It is not a great look..
