Covid-19 just cost me another $1,000. While you are extending the verandah paving it would look good if you pave the exposed side of the tank to match.

The tractor spat a hose in protest. Another $150.

Some states in the US that are restarting with service workforce restrictions are seeing a lot of problems. Not enough work for everyone, owners having full costs dropped on them, workers getting less or no income but cannot get support. Going to be similar here i think which is shit. A mate is sharing work as best he can but he will drop a lot of the money he has built up getting back to 100% if that happens by year end. Maybe lose it all if it takes longer.

Working in an industry decimated by the covid shut down and now filled with business owners begging for our support because they apparently support "us", this video struck a chord...

It did also remind me of the lecherous real estate, insurance, and fucking everybody else that is always too keen to grab your cash.

7pm last night we get a mail from the school saying they are getting an update later today. right after that the newspapers announce that all kids are expected back 5 days a week from monday. The teachers still have not been officially told this is going to happen in 3 more working days. wonder if it was just being run up the flag pole to gauge reactions. 12 people limits on buses, how does that work on school runs? spoke to a friend whos kid gets a bus home from strathfield, those buses have huge queues at the best of times, are they going to police the queues there?

School bus runs are exempt from social distancing guidelines...our kids won't be returning to school full time next week, they can be marked absent.

Hope you're taking your hydroxychloroquine
is this the same malaria stuff that gives you incredibly vivid dreams? might explain a bit about trump.

just got mailed guidelines from NSW/ACT AFL for training, with the provision this doesnt apply to NSW as the government hasnt approved it yet. groups no more than 10 including coaches, recommends 3 groups per field which seems aimed at bigger kids who need space. no contact drills, no pads or bumping. someone to log everyone at every session. disinfect all footballs and equipment between sessions.

main concern will be getting kids to do what they're told, especially after not seeing their friends for so long
