I just cracked the display on my laptop, don't ask how, does anyone know where in Australia I can order a replacement? I'd get one from eBay but I prefer to order by the part number on my display rather than just going on the model of my laptop.

I got a screen for a 2012 Hewlett Packard off ebay for $80 brand new after smashing one on my 2 week old laptop, followed a youtube tutorial on how to fit it, too easy !

yep i got one too off ebay a few years back after dropping my Dell. was cheap and dead easy to fit. Still works to this day and it was a better screen than what came with it in the first place

got a laptop to take to work & PC at home.

got pissed off at new laptop not running Sony Vegas after I took required specs into the shop & bought the HP for that reason, slammed the thing shut & smashed screen haha !! temper temper

only took about 10 mins to put screen in, dead easy

Yeah I had the old screen out within 5 min of breaking it, only a few screws dead easy. Got quoted from a bloke in PC shop for $100 for a screen which I'll do, rather pay a little extra and fix it tomorrow than wait X amount of weeks for one from eBay.
