G'day guys
It's that time of the year we start getting ready for our annual dh race which will be held on sunday 12th of may at mcfrenzy in jubilee park.
So far we have organised
•trucks
•buses
•toilets
•ses
•first aid
We need people to start thinking about what they can help out with prior and volunteering on the day
Prior:
•cardboard bike boxes are good 2people
•letter drop to locals in Harvey st and surrounds (letter ready to go) great job for younger member
•bunting the Friday/Saturday before
•BBQ items : drinks, meat bread, couple other little items 3 person job
•ice 2 person job (morning)
•signage from highway/no parking at Harvey st 1 person
• letter to council to book venue
•parking 1 person
•?
•?
On the day:
•morning rego fairly easy now as entry's are all online now 2-3people
•parking coordinator 1 for 3 hours or so in morning
•canteen 4 people 6 over lunch
•drop off/pickup supervisor 1 top and bottom
• shuttle trucks 2shifts so six drivers for small trucks
•2 drivers for large trucks mr license needed (extra incentive available)
•help/communication with ses 4x4needed 1 person
•timing 3people
•commentator for race runs
•cleanup group activity
•?
•?
Things needed:
Generator, eskys, BBQ, ezyup, tables, timing gear, rego box, float, 2 way radios?,
I have most likely left something out let me know. It would be great if we could get a whole range people helping out (mums, dads, brothers, sisters, riders of other disciplines) it just makes the organisation and the day run smoother.
just post up what you think you will b able to help out with and I or admin will put your name next to it. If a job involves spending cash please keep receipt and the club will give you a cheque at a later date
