Yes, the Tor claimed some skin and parts that day but thankfully nothing to serious.Iron Tor is riding as sweet as you could possibly want at the moment aside from its derailleur munching qualities. The new Sheffield tracks are also awesome

Excellent now, after a big working bee on the weekend. The whole Iron Tor descent has been raked and blown down, the Monty Loop is fully groomed most of the trails in the MTB Park have been cleaned up and the free ride area is currently getting a big makeover. There's probably only Ironcliffe Ridge, is now back open, but has some sticks and leaf litter that still needs raking off. What's conditions like there now after the recent storms?

Stop in at Railton on the way. It's riding good at the moment.Looks pretty good, props to the club for getting onto it.
I'm somewhat new to the area so yet to check it out, but it looks like it's worth the drive from launnie soon.

My brother built a lot of those trails over there and he now does the maintenance. He's been flat out getting it all cleared up from the storms.Stop in at Railton on the way. It's riding good at the moment.
No Kate reed is open has been for a while. A couple of small trees down(See attached photo) on the berm track possibly gone by now but riding good.If you are over my way let me know, I'll show you about.
I see that Kate Reed and Trevallyn will be out of action for a while yet after all the wind.

Definitely some great trails over there, especially if you like a big pedal.
Small trees eh.. just a simple bunny hop!No Kate reed is open has been for a while. A couple of small trees down(See attached photo) on the berm track possibly gone by now but riding good.
Trevallyn is open but with limited tracks open. That place really copped it in the storm trees down everywhere.
George Town closed I hear they might have some tracks open this weekend ???
I think Railton is under rated possibly because of no lift assist access but if you like big rides it's great Well done to your brother I rode raptor ridge on Sunday and that is alot of ground to cover and alot elevation to clear just that track.View attachment 412331
