Difference between xo1 Type 2 and Type 2.1?

Anyone know the difference between the SRAM type 2 and 2.1 RDs? Bought a 2.1 replacement, assuming that's what i had already, but I noticed straight away that the the b-plate assembly is different, so I must have had the type 2 before. Any other differences? Assuming it doesn't matter and the 2.1 will fit up exactly the same as my old type 2?

2.1 sounds betterer and is like for like replacement for the 2.0

Looks like the b-tension plate, that cracked on my old one, has been beefed up on the 2.1 also. Winning.

I believe Shitmano sued Sram for having an adjustable clutch which shitmano hold the patent for.
2.1 came out with a pin inserted into the clutch mechanism to prevent users from being able to adjust it and satisfying the breach of patent laws.
