I agree with @Yet1 as well, no way is that 10kgs and his sizing is well out as well, my old one - Med as well and I'm only 5'9 and I wouldn't want to be any taller on a medium - was built up lighter (straightout of the shop) and was 11.8kgs...was closer to 13.5 by the end.

Yeah I think it was around that mark, I bought a Raceline "Enduro" hardtail thing about 2001 for $1100 and a flatmate of mine bought one of these Avantis at the same time and it was about the $300 more expensive mark. The bloody things were pinched inside 4 months, I've had insurance ever since.

I had a Avanti Hammer in 98 and it was around $1200 from memory. My sister's Montari was around a grand at the same time. She still rides it.

I had an Avanti something something...freeride/dirt jump kind of thing that I purchased jut after I finished uni on sale for $2k. It was a sweet bike with v-brakes. Those old RS psylo were a sick fork...

Just means it’s old, and the tech has moved on a lot since then and it’s now worth about $150.

Bought a carbon dually for around $3.5k in ‘96. It had canti’s because v brakes weren’t on the scene yet.

I think it was an Avanti Manic. Gun metal grey, hardcore Mavic dh wheels, psylo. but then an LX crank and no chain guide.

I have seen a few poor set ups but this takes the cake.
At first I thought he just had the bars twisted but no it is set up that way, then he complains it is too small, this is just an accident waiting to happen or Darwin in full swing.
