So I was bored and decided to go to the very last page on the forum to see the oldest threads. The oldest thread is closed but this one, the 5th oldest remains open. It's a classic. It's a cool time capsule of how biking was waaaaay back. Now I didn't get in to riding until 06 but I remember even then a shimano 105 derailleur was the tits!!!
Pfft. I immediately ditched the XT that came on my new 222 for Durace...because short cage was where it was at.
Nice dig though. Just before I joined Farkin.

Classic. Was running an Ultegra der and 11-23 cassette on my ‘05 Norco Team DH. 321/729 rims always the benchmark until people started getting into 823s

Yeah I was much later to that Party. I only joined the forums in 2015. I had no idea what Farkin even was.
