Item: 26" fork, 20mm axle (or 15mm, thinking of building new wheels anyway), 1-1/8 straight steerer, 100mm travel or so (or able to be lowered)
Price: Hopefully not too expensive.
Location: Post unless you live in tassie?

Extra: Can trade for almost completely stuffed Pike 409 U-Turn? Don't think it's been serviced once in the last 10 years

Item: DT Swiss 350/240 12mm to QR rear caps kit
Price: ?? Less than retail
Location: Post probably

Will be taking them apart some time this week to have a look - given the thick, sticky, black stuff coming out past the seals, I don't have the highest of hopes though. Fingers crossed.

I've got some big ugly bombers here, not sure if the travel can be reduced though.

I'm with moorey though, fix the pikes. They're a simple enough fork with parts aplenty, if the stanchions are ok you'll be able to make them live again.

Sounds like full service and seals for the win. I have what you need. They’re a rare combo. Much cheaper to fix the sweet pikes I reckon

Thinking that's the go. If you have seals/rings to suit I'd love to buy them, think I may already have some 15wt fork oil somewhere but may need to find some 5wt.

I don't know if they are same as later 32mm revs etc, sorry. Been 8-10 years since I've run or worked on the original pikes.
I meant I have forks you need.....but wasn't planning to sell at this point.

I am pretty sure all the 32mm dust seals are more or less the same (as in will jam in but might come with different size foam rings), the O rings and stuff varies from fork to fork though...

Cheers for the offers guys, taking above advice and seeing if I can resurrect them first, have ordered oil & service kit (for old model 32mm Sektor, hopefully seals compatible, should be from searching?). Might drop you a message fatboyonabike if this doesn't work out, cheers.

Update - Forks I think i'll just run as-is after a service. Now need other stuff though, if anyone has a QR conversion kit they could spare for a DT 350 rear hub.
