You should see the hissy fits the american Coal Rollers are having now the EPA is finally actually cracking down on all their DPF deletes. Its hilariousI reckon there's only one car I ever want to own now. I like the commenter who called the Jeep a Shathawk. ICE is dumb. ICE manufacturers making electric cars, screw you, you don't deserve another cent! Look at all those pieces of shit that idiots wasted their money on. You know where you can stick your "long tube headers" lol. DIE, ICE, you offer nothing except boners for noisy wankers!

Ooh ooh where can I read this???You should see the hissy fits the american Coal Rollers are having now the EPA is finally actually cracking down on all their DPF deletes. Its hilarious
Youtube is where ive seen them - lots of redneck youtubers with coal rolling trucks on lift kits whinging about socialism and big government.... Just search for DPF delete EPA and youll find a bunch. Comments are terrifying in a funny way..Ooh ooh where can I read this???
Not difficult but they are complex assemblies. Mostly it’s just economies of scale that haven’t had the benefit of a hundred years of high volume manufacturing. Give it 10 years and production cost will reach parity. Why is it cheaper to build a ICE car than it is to build a electric car. Just looking at them like a laymen it seems the electric car is far simpler to build. Is a battery pack really that difficult to build?
Things are changing fast but it has been a long wait. I finished my mechanics apprenticeship 20 years ago and it was clear then that the ice was a dead end. I still can believe it has taken so long to catch on. Everyone seems to be waiting for someone else to invent the perfect battery. Why is it cheaper to build a ICE car than it is to build a electric car. 8 years worth of fuel in your battery pack. Going on 80% cost reduction over a 10 year battery life which seems to be the going rate for EV's. The controllers have seriously expensive electronics in them too. ICE platforms have been around a long time so have a huge economy of scale in manufacture too.Why is it cheaper to build a ICE car than it is to build a electric car. Yeah it's insane. Unfortunately an old link to Who Killed the Electric Car is no longer working but it is a must watch for anyone interested in EV's. Hopefully I saved a copy when it was available, will check later.Everyone seems to be waiting for someone else to invent the perfect battery.
Because ICE has decades of development behind it and a supply chain that is very lean. This is why Tesla has struggled with a lot of traditional auto manufacturing (body etc) and why he traditional autos have struggled with EV (they have to rethink the way their cars work). Why is it cheaper to build a ICE car than it is to build a electric car. Auto makers probably aren't too keen on them, as currently most of the profit in an automotive business is spare parts.Things are changing fast but it has been a long wait. Tesla must be so confused... They expected a short run at the top once the legacy automakers saw the success of Tesla, but didn’t happen. Oh well, I’m happy for the legacy guys to fold and leave Tesla. And maybe Renault alliance and VW.Toyota, GM and Chrysler can fuck right off too...
#ToyotaTrump boycott gains momentum, loyal Toyota customers in revolt
The Toyota-Trump boycott started when Secretary Robert Reich, tweeted, “Toyota, goodbye. The environmental goodwill you've built by pioneering hybrid cars has vanished.”electrek.co
