It's pretty hypocritical for this to happen when Elon stated that he wants Twitter to "adhere more closely to the principles of free speech", which he called “the bedrock of a functioning democracy.” and he wanted it to be less likely to ban people for violations of the platform’s policies..

Considering how many '..... for Harris' accounts he banned in the leadup to the election, and how many tweets or replies he deleted if they didn't match his agenda, it is patently clear he doesn't give a shit about free speech. Only free speech for anything that aligns with the agenda.
