I think that a lot of Trump supporters are people that just see it as a way to buck the establishment, but not realising that when Trump was in power (or if he got in power again) he would be the establishment.
I've seen a few people that love to fight the local council, everything is the council's fault, so they put in to be elected as councillor. A couple of them actually got in, but now they are the council! I was quite amusing watch their social media followers rile against them because they are now seen as the establishment. 🤣

I agree. I think he is positioning himself now to run for President in the future once Trump has done his time.

He is trying to weasel himself into the Trump administration to get a foothold in politics.

I wouldn't be surprised if he gives it a shot in the next 10 or so years.
