That little black line to the south of it is backburning in an attempt to stop the fire jumping the Hawkesbury under a north wester. They must be very worried...The Wollemi fire is rather large:

This fire will almost certainly double in size as it takes Yengo...and there's a distinct possibility it could take Dharug and even the Watagan if things go really badly...
