Item: Part Y-6CU98050 (see here identified as part 4), the cable hook unit for the brake cable in road brifters.
Location: Hobart or post
Price range/Willing to Pay: Not much, it's small bit of plastic
Extra Info: This is a long shot but if anyone has an old x500 series Shimano road brifter I'm after the circular white plastic brake cable hook unit, which captures the cable head inside the shifter guts. It also looks like x600 series brifters have the same part. I'm happy to buy a complete brifter if necessary but for such a small part I am obviously not interested in spending too much coin, so one that was rough or cactus for mechanical reasons would be ideal.
