What's the best way to go in that situation? The best tool to use from the start?

Nah. As long as you’re very good (and careful) with a dremel and a grinding stone she’ll be right!

Should you have a few drinks first to calm yourself down? And how many? I know when I occasionally play pool I'm fucking fabulous up to about 4 drinks then go to shit after that....

Custom tooling that’s often one offs and single use. This is an area I have ideas to commercialise, when I chat to bike stores many cite this as you why they refuse to touch frame bearings, especially carbon frames

Fit appropriately sized inner bearing remover to grab the inside of the outer race and slide hammer away?

Bit of a bump. Considering a bearing press kit. The eBay/Ali kit looks good but only has drifts and need an over axle sleeve for my hub.

Wiggle/CRC has the lifeline kit at $200 any other options I am missing with a sleeve to press on over an axle?

Bearing Pro Tools linked above looks to have it and could get Ali drifts to complement as needed.

I've bought a few Bearing Pro tools bits and they have been wonderfully easy to use. Replaced the bearings in a DT 350 hub shell and it was smooth with no hammer or swearing required. Hardest part was unscrewing the ratchet nut, but the bearings were in and out like butter.

Cheers. Email sent to Bearing Pro to see which kit will suit.

Hope hub. Had a reply for more details and waiting on which parts are needed.
Hope hub bearings come out real easy with a blind bearing puller or just a punch and hammer.

Installing them I would recommend having the hope bearing press for the inner bearings but the outer ones you can easily use the old bearing as a die.

Not had to change bearings often on Hope hubs and have the old Pro 2 non evo kit but it won’t fit over the larger axle. Was looking for something more universal.

Considered asking one of lathe men on here to make the hole larger?
