Item: Giant Trance 1 2014 27.5, L, with upgraded wheels, 1x10 ready
Location: Hackett, ACT
Item Condition: Used, well looked after
Reason for selling: went to the bike shop and couldn't resist a good deal on a new Giant bike
Price and price conditions: $1500 with Stans Flow wheelset

Awesome bike right in the sweet spot where it can climb tight trails well with the lockouts and fork dropped, and shred descents too with them open and the seat down.
140mm Maestro dual air suspension, Fox triple position CTD (Climb, Trail, Descend) both ends and TALAS height adjust switch for climbing. Stanchions have no scratches.
Wheels upgraded to much wider, stiffer Stans Flow S1 rims with two through-axles - from the standard 19mm wheels and tiny fiddly 135x5mm QR to enduro style 30mm wide and a 142x12 rear through-axle with the Giant dropout upgrade kit, and fork has a 100x15mm through axle. Rims are straight and undented.
Drive train: Ready for 1x10 with just a chainring because the rear is a huge 11-42 cassette thanks to OneUp Components. Front is still a 2x derailleur with a 2x chain guide for a ridiculously wide range of gears for those of us whose knees have seen better days. XT shadow+ (clutched) derailleur replaced so is much newer than the bike model.
Dropper post works and holds in both up and down positions, normal play, stock Giant one so sometimes needs a nudge or a wiggle.
Well cared for bike, all works very well, well used with a some trail and carrying marks see photos.
Shock and fork serviced at the LBS a few months ago and sadly the bike has only been ridden a handful of times since then. Rear brake cable replaced and reinforced to avoid the known Maestro cable rub issues.
Tubeless tyres with Orange Seal, big 2.5” super tacky gravity tyres.
Can do a deal for less $ with the standard narrow wheels and 135x5mm axle with trail tyres if you want it to be more of an XC style bike.
