Was looking for a new XC ride, hard tails are great value when looking at weight and efficiency and most of my riding is xc, Forrest, Wombat, Smith Gully, Yarra Trails, Plenty VIC.
$3699.00
Its a medium, weight is 10.4KGs (after converting to tubeless), tubes were 460 grams thick bastards, good for puncture resistance, no good for me.

MODS: bars cut to 700 cm, tubeless, removed spacer from drive side to other to eliminate back pedal chain drop, flip stem.
Ride: had to spend a bit of time getting fit right, mainly being able to ride aggressively through corners, lightweight wheels just don't slow and accelerate fast - plus flat bars, so bike was getting away on corners. Got it dialed now - needed more weight over front of bike, tubeless at about 35 psi, seat height for/aft.
suspension a bit soft, but maybe I"m used to my rigid and my other bike which has stiffer forks.
Is it fast? Yep faster than I can pedal it.
