GMBC No frills Friday racing

Well, after the Christmas and New Years break, the "summer" series of NO Frills Friday racing was set to kick off again this Friday night.

With the current closure of all trails at the You Yangs, there will be NO racing this Friday night 14th Jan.

At this stage, we are looking to return to racing next Friday, and will add a week to the end of the series to make it the 10 round series as planned.

A big thanks to Parks Vic for managing the park so carefully, and allowing us to run our races on the great trails in the You Yangs.

21st friday night is on

Yes, the Park Rangers are happy for us to race at the You Yangs this Friday night! So come out and join in.

What: Low key, fun, club racing
When: Friday, rego opens at 6pm, racing starts at 7pm
Where: Start at Duck Ponds School, just inside the main park entrance off Branch Rd, You Yangs
How much: $10 members, $15 non-members, $5 juniors. Adults need MTBA or Day Licence, juniors need MTBA licence or participation permit.


Or do you just want to go for a ride? Parts of the Kurrajong trails area will be opened on Friday, Stockyards will remain closed for the time being. Please remember to respect 'CLOSED' trails so Parks can get on with repairs. Don't be an idiot (or risk a fine).

Want to help get the trails back to A1 condition? There is a Trails Working Bee on Sunday February 6th. Put that in your diary!
