This will all come down to border management. The ATO doesn't need to get foreign businesses onside, just the couriers. They could whip up a black list and enforce the denial of entry for any package from a blacklisted business. They could also send the packages to Naru...leave them there indefinitely as an example to others. I hope people aren't sending packages by boat!!!

My package from Hi-Bike was attempted delivery today, then taken to a post office that does not open again till Monday... so no GST hold up.

My order from R2-bike arrived without GST or delay.
Ordered 11th July, arrived 19th July.

EDIT: also they stuffed up part of the order by not including the dtswiss adapter with the hub that I ordered. This was rectified with one email and the part is on its way free of charge.

I bought a car part from Europe through eBay the other day. eBay charged me GST, but there was nothing on the packaging to suggest that I had.

Pretty sure everything is operating as before, from a customs perspective.
