For what it’s worth, the Patriot+ with a 200 mm shock would make it around 150-155mm. Would also give it a very modern head angle and the bottom bracket height, I reckon.

To be honest I thought the patriot was a downhill bike, not 170.
But does it even come close to the "around $300 mark"
I'm guessing the green alpine is more expensive?

You’re thinking of the 222. It’s 170mm with the 216x63.

I picked up a complete and working well prophet with lefty Max (yeah baby) for around $450ish. I think the 300 mark is fair for a frame only. I notice all the prophets for sale at the moment arnt selling, 1000 to 2000 $ is madness for a twelve or thirteen year old bike with no upgrades

I think it is gen 5 so they might be right there.

Anyhow, @safreek would look awesome on that till the talented kiddies at the local trails saw it was really a 1 1/8 HT and then lose all cred in an instant. Tis a fickle world sir.
