Good choice. Trance should cover the majority of riding unless you're focused and competitive in a particular discipline..

My thoughts on the bike...
When i first hopped onto the bike i thought that the handlebars felt much too wide on my small frame but once i got riding i found that they were really good for stability and turning.
The 27.5 wheels were awesome, nothing to worry about at all.
The frame geometry in the small is an awesome fit to my body and was really comfortable to ride (even the saddle HAHHA)
The bike felt a bit heavy on the up but that could be due to many factors.. such as - the bike has an aluminium frame and is heavier than my last, I haven't actually riden a MTB in about 18months and I've put a stack of weight on.
The bike easily tackled everything going up and down, not that i rode anything too full on, but from my ride today i can tell that it would be fine on tough and technical ascends and descends.
Overall I felt really comfortable and really confident on the bike, and the frame and esp the colour is damn sexy.
Really really happy with my purchase and would def recommend!

Is that a small frame? I always thought small trances looked like kids bikes, but yours looks a bit more adult!

Yeah it's a small, Im actually really happy as I've always been put only a medium but i think the small is a really nice fit.

That's great. How tall are you for reference? I'm 5'6.5"-small according to giant (!) but a medium feels ok.
