On your CAD drawing it looks like the idler pulley has two cogs - one set of ratios for climbs and another for descents?

How did I miss this. Well done on a REAL build. Congrats on BOTM and I'd say BOTYear. We need some more photos of bike now for sure. A build like this I can only dream off. Enjoy Derby.

They are going good so far, I have read on the interwebs that they are rebranded DT swiss wheels so take that with what you will.

Yep. You can properly say you've "built" a bike. In my opinion, a bike "build" is not bolting parts on a frame. That just bike assembly.
I believe the same, its funny telling people that I built a bike and they ask what frame I used HAHa .. The dumb looks I get is priceless
