Yeah it does but maybe I'm wrong? It's a reasonably new 142 hub...I'm not that Hope literate.Swear it said Pro 4s on the first page but as above, I have used both SKF and Enduros in my Pro 2 and they have gone well.
They all let go eventually. Hope use a softer stainless though for better corrosion resistance (UK weather and all that).Swear it said Pro 4s on the first page but as above, I have used both SKF and Enduros in my Pro 2 and they have gone well.
Ntn, Ksm.Skf, fag, enduro, nsk
Usually written in massive white lettering on the hubs! Ha.Yeah it does but maybe I'm wrong? It's a reasonably new 142 hub...I'm not that Hope literate.
God knows - maybe it's written on it?
Maybe I'll look!Usually written in massive white lettering on the hubs! Ha.
I'm not a big kms guy...Does it happen when you put big Kms on them, because I own 3 sets of hope hubs and none have done that ?
My freehubs are all silver if that means anything, one has the steel freehub, two of them done over a 1000kms each and the other over 2000kms. I will dismantle one when I have spare time and check the condition of the bearings.I'm not a big kms guy...
Yeah, I removed the seal with a blade to check the condition of the bearing and re-installed it. I was surprised at all the grease in there still and I have never had the hub apart before. Maybe it's just the dinner plate cassettes that do all the damage to them as I always run a 2X 10sp set up.That freehub bearing should have a seal on it!
HereticI always run a 2X 10sp set up.
Less unsprung weight and a lot cheaper to get lower gear ratios.Heretic
