Injured rider on the weekend?

Does anyone know anymore about the rider who was injured at the weekend?

The Newcastle herald had a story in today's paper stating a 39y.o rider was treated by ambos for spinal injuries on Mt Faulk rd.

Fingers crossed for whoever was involved.

A mate did a few laps on the weekend - Sunday I think (and loved the new trails by the way) and told me yesterday that there was an ambulance, a police car and a helicopter at Awaba. He didn't see anyone in the Ambo, so assumed that the person was taken in the chopper. He said that the guys hanging around the ambo were more XC looking types (no full face helmets or armour), but was just making an assumption, as he didn't want to sticky beak.

Sorry I can't elaborate any further.
