Nice work. I got my middle finger caught in the chainring once - had my BMX upside down oiling the chain while turning the cranks and somehow my finger got caught - chainring tooth punched through nail and the chain locked it in wrapped over the pad of my finger. Luckily enough slack in the chain I guess that it didn't cut the whole end off...No arguments here!
I know I am very lucky it's only this bad.
Now that's more like it! I bet that tickledI'm sure I've posted this somewhere previously, but probably not in this injury thread.
Lathe-ing away at work doing final cuts and the swarf was coming off in long piano wire looking bits.
After each pass I was shutting off the lathe and carefully pinching the "piano wire" between thumb and pointer and lifting them off the lathe bed.
One of them slightly hooked up on something and gave me a slight paper cut on my pointer and in surprise I ripped my hand away and in the process sliced my middle 2/3rds of the way around.
Picture of the culprit paper cut.

And a nice Beaker impersonation!
Would be perfect with some googly eyes and the little tufts of orange muppet hair on top of the finger. Now that's more like it! I bet that tickled

Before I looked at the spoilers I thought this was your injury.Yeah did tickle a bit.
Still even now there are some "pins and needle" feeling spots on one side of my middle finger as the nerves haven't fulling recovered.
Not getting my foot out quickly enough.Thats a nasty injury all the same.
I always go through why didnt I do something else but every injury has a different cause..
Not getting my foot out quickly is a common one
