just grease everything that is going to move, and even if it doesnt grease is a good rust prohibitor.
does the bottem side of the top crown have a ball bearing race on it like a top of the crown on a SC?

just woundering, why must you have a spacer between the head set and top crown? so you don't crush the head set?

so you can turn without the top crown hitting the frame and maybe some other reason.... someone else may be more knowledgable..

cause if uv got a top crown like:

like on boxxers, and the Marz Monster drop crown, it only catches on the sides of the headset cap, can pull down the sides and not the middle, and bends the cap down and fucks the headdy... hope thats understandable :D

grease the top crown everywhere where there is going to be contact metal on metal ie where the steerer tube goes in and where the stanchinos go in

this will prevent and creaking that can occur after a while between the 2 surfaces
