That's a good rate!
UBank with bonus interest is currently at 2.1%

Nothing special but considering the state of the economy at the moment I’ll take it. Would be better off invested in some ETFs but I’ve got a pessimistic view of the next few years and want to keep cash on hand just in case.

If you're getting no reward for your savings...do something with it. You can spend and enjoy it or invest it in non-savings methods.
I started playing with that Acorns (now Raiz) app about 15 months ago. Just putting $5 a day in, and rounding up daily transactions. It quickly adds up - and getting much more back than savings (although haven't withdrawn anything yet to get taxed, so no idea what it actually comes to).

I might look into investing properly at some point, but this is fun and the big banks hate it https://www.savings.com.au/savings-...nwealth-bank-of-threatening-fintech-customers
