look at me
im with naz, my top two gears have never seen use since i got a road rear deraliur. plus who uses them on a dh run anyway???? i could easily run a 4 speed dh bike. it would be nicer anyway, plus i dont know how to service my drivetrain and cant be bothered paying megadollars for my lbs to do it.

Actually I did the maths on a DMR hub and tensioner, a cheapo chain, cheapo sprocket (allowed $20 each on them) and a cbasic hainring... Quite a bit shy of the megabucks you'd pay for a King or DT hub and all the other nice shiny bits.
And the hub counts because singlespeder claims you have to have a SS hub to have a "proper" setup. Nevermind me, just mincing words...
