Each monitor has one comp running it and there all specced at the same speed to keep up with each other and then you have a master comp controlling the whole show and that has to be networked to all the others through a hub and the cables...

Your average comp costs $2000 and a good hub costs the same...
Go figure.

Nah, he's only got 9 computers. Those monitors don't look too expensive either, you can pick them up fairly cheap. He probably would've got a deal from Athlon if he purchased 9 CPU's at once - same with graphics cards. Cases, RAM and the rest can be pulled from anywhere to save money.

He probably put the whole thing together for a fairly decent price. Pity it serves no real useful purpose.
