Was sitting down waiting for an appointment and noticed an AMB mag sitting on the coffee table. In today's world of instant news and notifications I don't really do the magazine thing but I put my phone down and started to have a flick through.

Has AMB turned into an E-bike magazine? Just about every page is bombarding you with E-bike ads and news on the "latest" E-bike offerings. As I continued flicking through there were opinion pieces on E-Bikes, all positive as you can imagine.

The kicker was an ad for E-bike specific saddles. What the fuck has a saddle got to do with E-Bikes?

Anyway, after 5 mins I got called in and I left the magazine for sometime else to get all excited about.

Wives.

The amount of Bull SH@T excuses they come up with for...
Needing so many handbags, shoes, dresses, jewellery..
The count so far is 25 pairs of shoes, 17 handbags, and f@cking dress's in any color you want.
Me - need a cheap new daily bike for work, old one has just about had it. Wife tells me why do you want another bike? you have 3 already, a bike is a bike.....
We came to this agreement many years ago - she has a wardrobe with so many clothes it defies belief (in her defence they’re all very cool clothes...), and I don’t get any comments about bike or car related purchases.

Everyone wins :)

I bought my wife new shoes waaay back for her birthday. As I was looking for somewhere to hide them she came home. So I put the new shoes at tge bottom of her shoe rack. Left them there until the day before her birthday, about 3 weeks. She never noticed. Got very defensive when I told her where they were. Didnt believe me until she saw the vacant space where the shoes were.

Nothing unusual from farce book, had a bloke here sell me a 83mm saint crank as 68-73. I asked him to check numbers on the crank and he checked the LH crank arm, I met him in a car park and at a first glance I said they're 83mm spindles but he assured they weren't, get home and yep 83mm. The idiot gave me his business card and he was a qualified engineer, I'd hate to see the fuck ups he does.
Well engineers are frequently referred to as educated morons......

Look at you boys shaming your spouse's shoe collections...there's nothing wrong with having 20 odd pairs of shoes.
Clips, flats, boots, everyday thongs, going out thongs = ummm, what the hell else do you really need? 4 of each of these 'cause they were on special or you needed to up the shopping cart online to get free shipping?

You only have one colour of thongs? Poor form. You probably only have helmet too.

If you meant to say one helmet, then I am sprung. (I do have 4 bikes though) Although I just counted and got 3 pairs of thongs, grey, white and black/blue. Although grey ones are about as thick as a piece of cardboard and as good.

You have earnt some wriggle room.

I know right, every mountain biker should have 20 odd different tyres hanging up in the shed.

...oh wait, you mean the ones you put on your feet?
Tyres too! Gotta have tyres.

And gloves. Lots of gloves!!!
