Little Things You Hate

correction duly noted!
its a photo too, nothing to suggest that the pack of lycra clad cyclists rode up next to him from behind, without him knowing and giving required clearance distance..roadies have been known to bait drivers like this just so they can take the moral high ground.

Did a brutal 50km today ended up in 39deg heat and had to be rescued by car about 3kms short of the trail head just plain ran out of go and couldn’t get my HR below 155 no matter what. I drank heaps of water and electrolytes but the cramps have started. At least so far just hamstrings which are easy to stretch but waiting on the adductors to decide to have a turn.

Just had a doozy adductor/ hamstring / shin / calf / quad at same time on same leg. While adductor and calf went off on the other side. Gotta love the missus pissing herself laughing as I flop around trying to stretch everything at once.
Stretch everything?

That is the weirdest cock n balls track I have ever seen.

Ahahaha!!!!
Love a good cramp session.
Woke up in tears last night thanks to a foot cramp that almost had my toes touching my heel.

I however am very normal. Trust me.
^^^^ that's pretty ugly, like the comments

They've beaten me, roadie is for the trainer now, on the road just aint worth it
Ya same, I've been sticking to bike trails and rail trails for years, requires a bit of driving to get to them, which is paradoxical, because I am riding for fitness and stress relief, but I'd rather not die.

I hate to admit the fact, but I am with freediver. You are a fucken dipshit. Learn road rules you dickhead.

I ride MTB, and also I have ridden road in Sydney for 10years now. 99.9% of people are actually AWESOME for cyclists, most people are actually great. The remainder are utes, 3tonne delivery trucks, Camrys, Accords and random dickheads.

Let's face it, just about everyone can be a dick. That said there is no place here to hate on roadies, drivers, ebikes etc. So everyone put their egos down.

I get frustrated when I see roadies run red lights and so on but not because they are breaking rules but because they are taking stupid risks. Plenty of danger riding on the road without that regardless of what you are riding. I avoid road sectors as much as possible. Some people have no idea what a safe passing distance is even when they arent trying to scare someone.

Had to drive to work today (which I hate - but had things to do this morning and was running late).

Came up to an intersection where we merge onto a main road turning left. Had an old lady in front of me hesitant to go (probably too old to be driving tbh), meanwhile a cyclist came through so I stayed put to let them past. Once the cyclist was through, some arsehole in a 4wd ute behind me had no patience and pulled out around me just as the old lady finally decided to merge.. I don't know how they didn't collide, but it was complete arsehattery and I was stuck in the middle of it.

Anyway, worse things happen at sea, but give me a cycle commute any day.

Correct me if I'm wrong - and I'm not trying to make excuses for that dickhead driver's aggressive, dangerous behaviour - but isn't there a perfectly good bike lane right there, that these guys were choosing not to ride in?

It was a shared path with pedestrians. Which makes that driver even more of a moron.

To flesh that answer out a bit more - you're required to ride on dedicated bike paths "if practical", but no such requirement for exists for shared paths. Therefore no illegal acts were occurring.
