It's a crap thing to go through but looks like you have it under control. If the biopsy goes pos, they'll then send you for a PSMA Pet scan... Which looks to see if it has spread to anywhere else. Waiting on those results was a pretty shitty 3 weeks.

Go to the dog beach and walk up behind a guy whose standing at the entry stairs taking about 20 of the poo bags out of the free council supply. He didn't realise I was there and jumped when he noticed he was caught and then said "Finally the council have refilled it" I said "Yep"

Not a hate but I find it odd as I've got a a dachshund so he does little poos. Often see people walk along the beach swinging around freely what looks like 2kg of sausages.

The thing I hate with the poo bag rolls in public is people yank on them to detach a bag or two, but don't roll the roll back up which means when it's windy the first bag acts like a sail and the whole roll promptly unfurls across the park.
 
Just found out that NSW schools have wound back the 1st day of school next year to the 6 Feb from the 4th Feb...we've already booked flights and rushing our last few days of holiday when we could've had a more relaxing jaunt and a few extra days abroad...fuck you NSW Dept of Ed.

booking a holiday a couple of years ago and it cost 1K more to get home on the last day of holidays than an extra night and get home on the monday. working holidays around school time is expensive.

That is usually the case, in this instance we booked flights 7 months ago so price wouldn't have changed a whole lot, just a few extra nights in a hotel.

NSW Dept of Ed making a call 3 weeks from end of term 4 to delay the start of term 1 still sucks balls.

If only your NSW school was also eligible for heat week...like ours is. Extra week off for the tiddlers!
 
Cops in NSW will get a pay rise of up to 39%. I'm not against that at all, I reckon the Cops should be able to put more shit people on the ground instead of blowing political kisses at them. My gripe is it seems like the push for more pay for nurses has been ignored. Y'all should be paying them whatever figure they ask for! You will most likely die without the care of a nurse, they deserve more money. Give it to them!

I worked in data comms for a certain large telco once upon a time where we carried a majority of the bank interchange links.

Even back then it used to cost them 0.0001 cent per transaction in those primitive times. The banks also used a method where the call was sent that included the transaction data piggybacked onto it. Upon delivery of the call then the banks rejected it but kept the data payload essentially getting it all for free. This blew up once the telco noticed it the pattern.

It gets my goat that end consumer has to pay for the cost of these digital transactions. I think those NFC POS terminals have been paid several times over already.

If you do the courtesy of spending more then you get slugged with a bigger transaction fee while the actual sent will be almost the same. It should be a cost of doing business same as paying the power bill.

Maybe the thinking with this is the pay rise for cops will come with new relaxed powers to shoot the scumbags that deserve it thus not requiring nurses to care for crooks that now have hurt feelings because the nasty policeman said hurtful things to them?

I saw Cold Chisel and The cruel sea amongst others on the weekend at an outdoor venue.
During the Cruel sea's set there was so much smoke in the party pit at the front even the non-smokers were likely getting stoned lol
