We bought an 85" TV - it's been amazing. Just finished The Rig, now watching Force of Nature: The Dry 2.

Will eventually get around to setting up a projector when the spare room downstairs is finally sorted out. For movie nights. Still not interested in having a TV in the lounge room though.
 
I haven't had a TV since the first season of 24 was aired, and then it was just a coincidence of there being one in the room I was boarding in. I don't miss it at all. However if I am at a palce and one is on I am completely unable to ignore all the bright colours and movement!

Many people have asked "what does your furniture look at?" Due to the way television dominates home decorating.
 
I hate smokers, selfish oblivious righteous fucking bludgers you are. What makes a smoker even worse? Smokers outside a hospital. You dumb immoral bumblefucking morons deserve to die badly. Start digging your hole.

I had the misfortune of needing to be with people in emergency care recently and needed to go outside to access another area of the hospital. Of the four times that long day, I had three encounters with said deadshits. I can be an obnoxious prick when the time is right and I made sure those people all felt my wrath. One smug fuck with a drip plugged into him wheeling a trolley had the hide to say "what's up with you?". Like der...........what do you think I'm scolding you for you fucking dimwit? He looked as healthy as a piece of jerky (I told him that) and said he'd be better off jumping under the next bus instead of bashing that junk into his lungs. I said to put it out and do something useful with his life. I copped an earful (completely warranted after what I called him) and he staggered off. I was furious. The hospital is short on beds and these special c#nts take up space and resources. Those poor nurses dealing with these flogs.:mad:

I have thoughts of dropping a massive wet fart right next to them just to get into a discussion about inhaling noxious fumes.

Smokers outside hospitals fuck me off no end.

Spending the morning, with a dozen other volunteers preparing Glenorchy MTB Park for XC Nationals next weekend as its had no maintenance for many many months.
no problem volunteering but what i hate is that Glenorchy City Council are paying a local trail building company to Maintain the park but have done sfa despite knowing about this event for months.

Invoice the bastards for the work THEY should have done. That's piss-poor.
 
back from 2 weeks in tas. had to dial in a few times for urgent issues, its part of being a freelancer and wanting to stay the top option clients call for work. Work late on an urgent issue with scant details. Mail back, Im assuming you meant X which is now updated, please confirm before we deploy. 10 days later they cant be bothered to respond. but it was so urgent.


oh and derby, wtf is up with those f@#%$Ring flies? they're massive and so many of them

The Cicadas have just emerged from the ground recently, so some areas have thousands of the noisy bastards.
March flys have also come out of hibernation and they have been pretty bad in places. They were a pain in the arse in Queenstown on the weekend every time you stopped for more than a minute. They didn't seem to bite you though. 🤔
 
was riding with the family so we had to stop pretty often and must be those march flies. no bites but they are pesky buggers. queenstown trails looked like a lot of fun. maybe it was just from the lookouts but didnt seem a lot that you'd want to ride without a shuttle.
