Little Things You Hate

If you are a restaurant and you think a wedge of cos lettuce is an appropriate side to anything...fuck you.
In 2005 I was in a restaurant with friends where I ordered a side of veges for $7 (20 years later, I reckon you could say that it would be $12-15).

Picture the little white corrugated bowls you get the sour cream and sweet chili sauce in when you order wedges at a pub, all I got for my money was one of those tiny things with nothing but boiled squash in it.

Fuck me was I unimpressed.

Ordering a side of broccolini/asparagus/Brussels/beans or a garden/Greek salad with an elaborate dinner because "i didn't think there was enough fresh/healthy items in my dinner" is a mood killer. I didn't come out for healthy food! I came out for a good time. I had a few nights out with a lady earlier this year (italian chinese or steak usually) and she would order up a storm (no worries, indulge and enjoy!)...then a fucking salad or side of vegetables. Only to realise the food she wanted to eat was too filling for the "healthy" add ons and usually came with vegetables or salad.

Fucken stink bugs, just ate one. A good 5 min of dry retching and such. Life is going well ❤️‍🩹

Right at the outset she said something along the lines of any remaining panelists that participate in the event would be supportive of the oppression of the Palestinians. That to me was major red flag.
Why can't we hate everyone equally and with inevitably fatal consequences? It would be so much easier...
