Little Things You Love

Looks like no commute riding tomorrow, Vline is still down and potentially tomorrow as well, so I’ll drive in tomorrow.
I was supposed to be travelling by train to Melbourne tomorrow but that's not happening now. I always look at the maintenance gravel road beside the rail line and wonder whether it would be rideable. It might be, if you can dodge the great piles of rubbish people dump...

They are saying essential travel only for Thursday. Maybe by tomorrow morning your car will be out of action and you will need to WFH again 🤔

Ive been seeing some news that horse meat has been found in various imported meat products. Horse is fucking delicious!

It certainly can be, and not illegal if from approved abbotoir

What's their argument? "Gambling products shouldn't be food" or is from dodgy knackery? Or "i got better meat than i paid for"?

Anyhoo

Is or is not, doesn't overly concern me. But aside from our wide spread "but the horses are so beautiful" reluctance to harm them, there is likely some out there for whom eating it could be a religious issue.

I say eat up!

Cows can also be cute, and have cow thoughts and feelings...but are also delicious.

Have wondered (from industry design point of view), if horses could be bred efficiently and provided more milk than cows...
Less meat per beast though, but that doesn't stop ppl eating cute fluffy lambs

What could be more "Aussie" than getting a steak from a horse that won you a few bucks at the TAB
"Race on Sunday, sell on Monday" (or was that just for Holdens/Fords)

Pretty sure per gram of meat that cows are input/land/polution inefficient.

I did a sneaky edit...my phone thought I meant grammar when I definitely meant gram. It just did it again! I definitely use the word gram more than grammar.

Had a nice ride yesty with some pals. One of the girls that comes along has recently been to Whistler and on a casual climb I asked "Did you get a few pedal up's on Blackcomb?" She says no but really enjoyed the gravel rides.

Without hesitation I yell:

HA! GaYYYYY!

Another good pal rides with his little man on a Wee Ride thing and he's next to me on the climb. His boy copies Uncle Dozer and yells "AYYYYYYY" in the same voice :D :D :D :D . His dad says he'll hear about this after he gets him from pre school tomorrow. Uncle Dozer is happy with the progress of his young apprentice.
