Ultra Lord
Hurts. Requires Money. And is nerdy.
this is funny. I feel for the guy
Commodore was always a European (with a bit on the side from japan once) mongrel anyway...It smacks a bit of what they've done to the commodore nameplate.
Do you reckon the Corvette Traditionalists will take to it?
I guess they will bin more cars since they will be harder to drive at higher limits. Have a google about the LT5 quad cam engine that GM had engineered by Lotus. Good old boys ruined it. The new quad cam motor? Who knows. It smacks a bit of what they've done to the commodore nameplate.

That would do my head in...this is funny. I feel for the guy
I love the quiet confidence of the Fox guy. Yeah yeah, no.this is funny. I feel for the guy
Flat plane crank will upset a lot of corvette peeps too... Like many iconic cars that evolve, they'll lose some sales and gain more.I guess they will bin more cars since they will be harder to drive at higher limits. This is true, until the VE at least. But much like the Vette and Mustang they evolved into something much bigger than just another car.Commodore was always a European (with a bit on the side from japan once) mongrel anyway...

That’s cool. That Lotus engine was pretty damn nice, remember seeing one with its bonnet up when they were new and being awestruck...This is true, until the VE at least. But much like the Vette and Mustang they evolved into something much bigger than just another car.
The “Original” LT5 & What Could Have Been
The C4 Gen III LT5 that almost made it to the Corvette. Lingenfelter builds the might have been C4 Gen III LT5 engine from prototype partswww.superchevy.com
Geez, imagine what could've been in hot commodores all this time.
Not sure about the no camshaft bearings thing tho
He has the patience of a saint. No way I could handle thatThat would do my head in...
I was expecting him to get chucked off the bike at 4.26 when he had that stick tangled up in his frame.
The early corvettes were HQ Holdens, front control arms and steering column were almost identical, even the sub frames were like a holden ute as the sedan had a half frame.Commodore was always a European (with a bit on the side from japan once) mongrel anyway...
That's a very scary proposition.......The early corvettes were HQ Holdens, front control arms and steering column were almost identical, even the sub frames were like a holden ute as the HQ sedan had a half frame.
They weren't too bad back in their day after you spent a few weeks wages on them but a POS in comparison to what we have these days. That's a very scary proposition.......
Throw the HQ in the ocean for a few years. My neighbour's stingray doesn't look much like any Holden I've ever seen.
Tim Minchin noted this article during his show - its worth a read.Tim Minchin. Super fun show, with a very classy addressing of the Pell situation.

This is why we don't leave justice in the hands of victims
In this most polarised of public dramas, Chief Judge Peter Kidd was a meticulously moderate character: a mix of just rage and compassion.www.smh.com.au
There are rumours that due to his age, he will end up at the Farm.I wonder if Pell will receive as warm a welcome inside as Robert Hughes did?
