Deftones tix procured. Ticketek is such a dog's dinner of a platform. Sat in the waiting room on both desktop and phone, and got into the waiting room on the phone first, despite having logged into the desktop a few minutes earlier. Lo and behold, couldn't even managed to get 2 GA tickets for the Saturday show but ended up getting 2 for Sunday; preferred that than having to try again when general sales open on Friday. On topic, Shove it Ticketek! 🤣
 
Listening to JJJ while mowing. They were playing bits from various 50th anniversary gigs. Can anyone explain why they are still giving Courtney Barnett microphone time?
 
I reckon the girl in Amyl & The Sniffers is on a path to become someone that just won't shut up and will be a villian soon enough. Geez she's got a mouth on her.
I haven't listened to their music much, are they any good?

To each their own but I find them, and her in particular, to be absolutely f$%^ing abysmal. Have tried on a number of occasions to understand the hype but I just don't get it. Which I'm sure bothers them greatly.....
 
My guess is people either jell with her voice/vocal style or they don't. The music is good in the background but I wasn't a fan of the 70s/80s bored/almost spoken singing style the first time around.
