There it is, another tour gone. The highlights were hard to see this year. Of course, the expectations were high given Cadel's win last year but there just wasn't the excitement or panache of last year. Perhaps after the first ITT and a couple of failed attacks, the writing was on the wall. It just didn't seem like a blockbuster race when it could have been. I don't think that the traditional race was based around ITTs. At least we saw the new breed coming with TJ, Pinot, Porte and Froome.

Cadel's form, nails on the road, the domination of Sky, Cav...again, Sagan....again, GE not getting the stage win, Bradley Wiggins being a surly bugger for most of the race, lack of audacious attacks on the slopes, Schleckoids MIA. FFS this years' race doesn't compare. Seemed a bit like a long time trial. Compare that to Hooger going into the barbed-wired fence or Lance facing off with Jan, McEwen vs Zabel, Pantani vs Armstrong up the Ventoux... etc.

Until next year...

Wow, the comments to that video suck. The guy had two mechanicals and finally a cleat that failed during a sprint finish of the Belgian National Championships, and people don't at all think that's harsh?

Judging from the comments I must be the only person in the world that feels sorry for him :/

Oh, and to top it off, he lost to a Cross rider.
