Lowering fox forks?

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone knows whether it is possible to lower fox van's or float's to 100mm. I have just bought a blkmrkt riot off tbsm and am now wanting buy a second hand set of fox forks (no, not 831's) I know it is possible to lower 2006 vanilla 130's to 100mm by removing a spacer, but wondering if the more recent ones are similar internally?
Any thoughts/experiences?

Can't lower the new Vanilla's. Can lower the FLOATS by adding a spacer.

From what I remember you can lower the newer Fox Vans, but depending on how much you are lowering the forks, you need to get hold of some spacers and possibly cut the spring or squish it in with some epic man power. I think Pinkbike has a thread on how to do this.
