Ludicrously expensive bike stuff

Hey, if you can't afford the boots there's always the sandals...

But then you will have to look like this. There's no price for dignity.

Have to give e credit to the power of the Balenciaga logo.

If these were in your local $2 shop for $7.99 with a Xisheng logo then you would still probably pass them by.

I'm sure that look is big somewhere. Dignity is for the weak and unInsta worthy. :)

I thought I would figure out more about the world as I get older but the opposite seems to be happening..........

Maybe the rainbow unicorn is more of a warning sign?... (and the catfish bait)
No-one has mentioned the 'O' word yet... (Obsolescence.) No person with sufficient working synapses would pay the equivalent of a bunch of Actofive or Colnago bikes, or a couple of nice bikes and Years of awesome riding holidays - holidays full stop, TBH.
Also, those carbon bars are going to fail, and then the consumer is farked. Does that mean they get a sad face call from 'Sabrina'?
It has to be for rich idiots.
The whole thing is so retarded, in fact...

It’s still ridiculous of course, but you can pay a price that looks halfway acceptable.

That massive price has something to do with a lifetime of upgrades, cbf reading further to see why it’s so much.

The claim is, that if you pay that ridiculous price there will be no obsolescence. They will supply you the latest software or hardware improvement for life*.
*The life of the company which may be very short.
Plus, any other bike you have or will have, will also be eligible a set of Flitedeck bars.

maybe, and as you say, still no guarantee the company will be around for years, or that any warranty claims are worth a damn.

I can pretty much guarantee it won't be a lifetime of upgrades. I rekon the hardware won't even be able to keep up in 5 years let alone a lifetime. Name one tech gadget that has a lifetime of 10 years - there aren't. Even your basic garmin device would be pushing that.

So...if you're looking at your handle bars, when do you look up at Ranger running the red light while the driver checks his 'insta?

You really only need a couple of Saudi prince OF/cycling fans to buys those "lifetime upgrade" handlebars to be pretty well set-up going forward. No one said that having lots of money guarantees having financial sensibility.
