Round 2
Round 2 is this Friday night, with the new start time of 6:30pm.
Car park opens at 5pm, rego at 6pm, race at 6:30pm, finish at 8pm.

Thanks to everyone that came and volunteered or raced at Round 1.
We will have a special kiddies track, so the non-racing kiddies can have somewhere to ride their bikes while the big kids & adults are racing.

Fingers crossed I make it to this. That half hour earlier will make it tight from work, but more light to ride in is good.
Has there been any feedback on race duration? I can't help but think if the race was 45mins-1hour we wouldn't need lights, it'd be more achievable and more likely to have a social vibe. I'm just thinking back to Heany Park dirt crits in the 90s and how great it was to have that short hitout rather than a full 90minute XCO race.
Of course I didn't make it to the first one so maybe I'm off base. I was super excited about them until I heard how long racing was for and that lights were required. Still excited, just less so. Hopefully see you Friday.
