Man Space / Bike Shed Layout

Anyone ever looked at or worked out a decent priced floor matting for a garage/shed ?
Facebook marketplace look for anyone stripping out a gym or similar, with the 1x1m x 10mm thick solid rubber mats. Or you can occasionally find it on discount at bunnings.

Polished then painted concrete. Anything else is a distraction when we're trying to find what we've dropped. :p

Need the garage empty for 7 days... fuck knows how I'd put that shit anywhere.

Not a big fan of pvc tbh. Rubber is just more grippy and safer to drop stuff onto..

The rubber mats with holes is cheaper/lighter since there's less material, and it catches dropped bolts and small parts better. However they trap dirt and spilt liquids like crazy and needs regular vacuuming

I've been planning to paint the concrete in my shed for the last four years.
The idea I had was to do one third at a time, and rotate the junk into the area not being painted.
Planning will probably continue for another four years.

I've been in this house 8 years and still thinking about it.

Its smooth polished concrete and not marked so there no urgency but its definitely on the want list.

Apologies if this is too practical for anyone but you could probably just rent one of those shipping container storage unit thingos they drop at your house.

I saw this idea online somewhere.
Mostly little used cutting tools as have many power saws but don't want to get rid of them. Wasn't sure on gravity loading of slide but it works. I put a small roller wheel under front corner. This is prototype, will CNC some nice looking ones with integrated handle as draw pull looks naff. Would work for bike tools too.
