Ok, gonna start a new thread as I can't find anything on this.

Long time member, long time watcher/stalker, occasional poster.

So, currently running Fox Evolution CTD 29er in 120mm on my trail bike and looking at the Manitou Minute Pro as an upgrade. Would they be an upgrade?

i find the Fox sets up either too soft, so small bump is good but bottoms out too easy on bigger stuff, or vice versa the exact opposite and too stiff. I'm only a lightweight too at 65 kgs.

Yeah if $ weren't an issue Pikes etc but these forks won't cost much to swap out.

any thoughts appreciated!

Mate if it was me and you are ok with keeping the stauntions and lowers I would talk to cyclinic about the upgrade to fit4. Won't cost you more than $450ish to get the new top of the line damper in there and is a massive improvement on what you have. With full service postage etc

More info on this link why it's appropriate to you

I had some 120mm 29er Minutes a few years ago and they were an adequate fork, quite stiff with the 20mm hex axle. They might have a slight edge on Fox Evolution in terms of ride quality, but don't come close to Fox Factory series. I'd consider SF Trailboy's suggestion, it will absolutely transform your fork.

The upgrade looks worthwhile, but reading the link it only offers 100mm travel for 29", the OP (and myself, which is why i looked) have 120mm travel.

Am i reading it right or missing something?

*** never mind, in the drop down box there's a 5th option for 29" 120-130mm***
