Marzocchi HELP!

Hey i might be buying some z1's for a good price second hand. the guy said that one of the damping cartridges are stuck??
What does this mean and how much would it cost to fix?
Does this mean the guy has HAMMERED the forks?
Any suggestions?

It could be many things peachy, it could just need a service(cheap), it could be a blown cartrige(expensive), It could just mean the adjuster is siezed..............
What model Z1 is it ? I've seen people try to sell a Z1 drop off(aka, a Z3) as a propper Z1, don't let em fool ya.
personally i'd steer clear, if it was an easy fix wouldn't he have fixed it for a faster sale ?! Maybe ask him to have it fixed first and see what he says.

yeh dont buy broken shit cause ull end up spending heaps just fixing them.
i bought some second hand psylos that were completely rooted and it was gonna cost heaps to fix. turns out they were like 5th hand so i got full ripped off.
only get them if theyre in good condition .
